| Being a private investigator, Naydra had always prided herself
on being able to avoid trouble, especially at home. But not this time.
Today she found herself ambushed in her apartment and strung up in
the bathtub. What her captors were up to she had no idea, only that
she knew she was in danger when they started the water running and left her
to die in the tub.
As she struggled and fought the restraints she could hear the intruders ransacking her apartment, as if they were looking for some information. It certainly had to do with one of her cases, but which one? Who was behind this attack, and this attempt on her life? With each second, more water rushed into the tub making it more and more difficult for Naydra to keep her head above the water line. The duct tape on her mouth wasn't helping her breathing any, as she also needed desperately to keep the water out of her nose. Finally, the noises stopped outside, although Naydra could barely hear, her ears being mostly under water, and for some reason, the intruders pulled her out of the tub. What other perils did they have in mind for the beautiful PI? |
