Naydra did a little digging and found out that Galatea had done business with a contracter who had some ties to the Dorigalli family, a powerful criminal organization in town.  Apparently the contractor had run afoul of the Dorigallis and the family was looking to clean up any loose ends, including getting rid of several of the contractor's recent clients!

What made the situation worse, was that when the Dorigallis caught up with Galatea, she happened to be visiting with Naydra, and worse, Naydra was someone who had run afoul with the Dorigallis before.  The two ladies sat on the bed and struggled as the house was ransacked.  They tries to reach each other's ropes in order to free each other before the ransacking was complete.  Naydra knew that once they had found everything they were looking for, the Dorigallis would come back to the bedroom to finish cleaning up the "loose ends"!!!
